| Gilmore’s Restaurant
is named for the pet lion of Corinth’s world-famous
aviator from the 1930’s and 40’s –
Roscoe Turner. Shiloh Ridge is located on Corinth’s
first airport runway, and Roscoe Turner was its
most famous patron. Gilmore, Roscoe’s prized
lion mascot, traveled the world with him and accompanied
him in numerous air races. The Gilmore lion came
to symbolize the strength and steadiness with which
Roscoe Turner flew his airplane. Today it represents
the consistency of fine (and fun) dining offered
only at Gilmore’s at Shiloh Ridge. Gilmore’s
is open for lunch daily – by menu Monday through
Saturday and Sunday’s Super Lunch Buffet. |
